Have you signed up for the new online account portal yet? In the Spring, PWP launched a brand new Customer Information System (CIS). This updated customer account portal includes automation features such as:
- Start/stop service requests
- Schedule electronic payments
- View historic usage and billing data
- Receive notifications when e-statements are available
- Manage multiple accounts with one login
- Login from a smart phone, tablet or desktop
- Sign up for paperless billing
In addition to the online portal, PWP has a new, modern bill design that is more reader-friendly, providing customers with an improved experience when reviewing usage and charges. Customers will also be able to view account changes made to refuse, sewer, water and electric accounts. Customers will also be able to link multiple accounts for ease of account management. Additionally, customers will be assigned new account numbers to enhance the security of the system and customer account information.
Customers who have linked their current account number to a financial institution’s online banking system will have a six-month grace period to update their information.
Internally, the CIS will create improved processes for every customer touchpoint, including account management, billing, rates, credit collections, asset operations, and field operations. The CIS includes integrated billing and payment processes, support for future initiatives such as smart grid technology, time-based dynamic rate structures and much more. With these new systems in place, PWP will be equipped to provide an enhanced customer experience with user-friendly tools and updated technology.
